Breeding

AKC and or NAVHDA registered German Wirehaired Pointer Puppies

What do you get from us?

We occasionally breed German Wirehaired pointers. We ensure that our breeding stock is of even temperament with the family in mind. Litters are registered either through the American Kennel Club (AKC) or the North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association (NAVHDA). Hips and Elbows of the sire and dam are certified through the Orthapedic Foundation of Animals (OFA).

$250 deposit is required to begin the process of getting puppy.

$1200 total cost for puppy (deposit is included).

During COVID several things have changed in the transportation of your new gun dog. Airline carriers now rarely will allow the transportation of your new puppy as cargo. Several clients have traveled to our location and taken puppies home as carry on. This is the best solution currently for people that are not within driving distance.  Other arrangements can be made as well (pet porters).

By 8 weeks when your puppy is ready to go home it will have received its first two rounds of shots (third to be done at 12 weeks). Its tails and dew claws will be removed. You will receive a 3 generation certificate of pedigree from the American Kennel Club or NAVHDA. Our veterinarian will conduct a health check of the puppy and include a letter of wellness. All of the puppies will have been familiarized on upland, Waterfowl wings and deer or elk antlers.

Follow on training if you’d like as well through a started dog program
